by Lynne Meredith SchreiberUrim Publishing, 2002The traditional Jewish community has long been silent on the very personal yet also public matter of married women covering their hair with hats, scarves, and even wigs. Hide & Seek is the first and only book to discuss the topic, and includes legal and sociological perspectives of this observance, citing relevant texts and rabbinic discourse, as well as the history, tradition, and customs of Jewish communities from around the world. (2002)- Note: Lynne Golodner wrote this book when she was Lynne Schreiber, in her first marriage, covering her own hair. She later uncovered, finding the practice confining, and disavows her earlier perspective that it is, indeed, a religious mandate. She believes it is a part of fitting in to religious communities rather than a strict observance dictated by God.

by Lynne Meredith Schreiber Promise Publications, 2001In the late 1990s, Lynne Golodner hosted writing camps for children in metro Detroit. When one of her campers was diagnosed with leukemia, she started visiting the young girl to write together as a way to process her emotions and experiences going through treatment. Those writing sessions became this book, In The Shadow of the Tree: A Therapeutic Writing Guide for Children with Cancer, with the young patient's poems as examples for Lynne's writing exercises. The girl is now a doctor in her own right, working with pediatric cancer patients. Purchase from AmazonDriving Off The Horizon
by Lynne Meredith CohnIM Press, 1996Lynne Golodner (nee Cohn) had a goal of having her first book published by the time she was 30. So imagine her surprise when her master's thesis, a manuscript of poetry written during her MFA in Writing program at Goddard College, was accepted for publication by IM Press in Takoma Park, Maryland. This book, Driving Off the Horizon, are poems of a twentysomething yearning for purpose and direction, for love and life, and share the fears, desires, concerns, and celebrations of all of us as we set out on a path toward independence. Baltimore Jewish Times, July 1997 Lynne Cohn is still inspired while driving. But these days, having come of age, she now considers safety and pulls over to the side of the road to wax poetic Chiron Review, April 1997 With HORIZON, Lynne Cohn has made a much-deserved foothold in the world of letters. The book also acts as a forecast of a force in poetry to be reckoned with in the future
