Blog Hiatus

For those of you who read my blog regularly, you probably have already realized I’ve been diminishing my blogging. By a lot.

Why?

There are so many reasons … I don’t feel I have as much to say here in blog format, for one, and I’m just too busy with my business (www.yourppl.com) and my new nonprofit, One Earth Writing (www.OneEarthWriting.org). Doing real work, to change the world for the better.

But there’s another, bigger reason: if I write here, I find I don’t write creatively. For publication. For myself. To string together beautiful words that record the moments of life we want to cherish forever.

Writing is writing. Writing on a blog supplants writing elsewhere, and it’s time, now, to change gears.

A new year approaches, 2017, a year with unknown horizons. We are in a time of great chaos and great potential transformation. I want to be a part of the good that I want to see in the world.

And that means, if I am to make real change, I need to do it elsewhere.

So I am going on a blogging hiatus for a while. I’m sure I will be back in time. I love writing for you and sharing insights to which we all need to give voice.

I love being an outspoken beacon for the thoughts and anxieties and hopes swirling inside and around us.

For now, I’m just going to do it in other places. Look for my writing on Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn. (If you’re not already following me there, please do!)

Look for my published pieces. Look for my next book (which won’t be out for a while, but it needs attention.)

My voice will still be out there. Just on other platforms.

Wishing you all the wonderful things that the coming new year has to offer. Join me in leading a change revolution. Use your voice for good.
